The CIBICO project (CIRCULAR BIOMATERIAL COMMUNICATION) is a system developed to create graphic communication supports using biomaterials made from organic waste. These materials are highly versatile and require no inks, as all information is engraved using laser technology, making them 100% biodegradable. Furthermore, the material can be recycled and reused to create new projects, thus fully closing its life cycle.

We are naifactory lab, a multidisciplinary studio with more than 15 years of experience in the design of ephemeral spaces. Throughout this journey, we have witnessed the large volume of waste generated by this sector, especially in signage elements, many of which are produced with single-use plastic supports.

Aware of the environmental impact of these practices, since 2020 we have developed our own solutions based on biomaterials, designed and produced in-house. Thus, we propose a sustainable, biodegradable and circular alternative for visual communication in ephemeral environments.
